The number of Palestinian women prisoners held in israeli jails as of the end of February 2012 has reached 36, including 11 women prisoners, according to data released by the Al-Assir Club.
Of the 26 female prisoners, 3 were administratively detained (Shorouk al-Badan, Bushra al-Tawil and Al-Sa´a´ain), in addition to eight wounded prisoners, including prisoner Isra Jaabis, and her most difficult condition.
The prisoners were sentenced to 16 years in prison and 16 years in prison by The Prisoner´s Club.
