10 thousand dollars fine for those harvesting a rare flower in Turkey

The Turkish authorities have announced a fine of 60,000 Turkish lira (about $ 10,000) for those who collect the rare "Tulip Manisa" flower in the country.

This is part of the country´s efforts to protect this rare species, the official Anatolia news agency reported.

The unique flower blooms once a year, in the spring season (April to May) at the National Mountain Mountain, Manisa State.

By this event, the state organized an event to celebrate flowering and awareness of the need to protect it, and invited it to journalists, photographers and students.

Wali Manisa, Ahmed Deniz, told reporters during the event that Venus is one of the most beautiful plants in Turkey and grows naturally in the garden.
