Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday agreed with Benny Gantz, leader of a blue-white party, to hold a meeting next Wednesday after negotiations reached a dead end.
A two-hour meeting was held between the bipartisan negotiating teams, but no agreement was reached, amid accusations of blaming each other for failure.
With Netanyahu and Gantz agreeing to the agreement, it means that Netanyahu will not take the step of re-authorizing him to form the government of Israeli President Reuven Rivlin. As reported by Hebrew media.
