Settlers prevent shepherds from watering their livestock in Ain al-Hilweh in the northern Jordan Valley

Today, Wednesday, settlers prevented livestock farmers from watering their livestock in the Ain al-Hilweh spring in the northern Jordan Valley.

Human rights activist Aref Daraghmeh told “Wafa” that the settlers prevented the shepherds from watering their cows since the morning, and threw stones at the cows.

This attack comes two days after the settlers planted trees around the Ain al-Hilweh spring, which they seized several months ago.

Last night, settlers worked to pave a road towards the settlement outpost established since 2016 in the Khallet Hamad area, where the road connects the main road to the settlement with a length of 2 km, which means closing additional areas of land on both sides of the road.
