The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Wednesday, the registration of two deaths, 115 new infections with the “Corona” virus, and 360 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila confirmed that the two deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip, while no deaths were recorded in the West Bank governorates.
She said that the new infections were recorded in the governorates as follows: Tubas (1), Jenin (5), Nablus (3), Bethlehem (1), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (2), Hebron (1), Gaza Strip 102, pointing to 4010 assays were performed.
Al-Kaila added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: Jenin (4), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (2), Hebron (4), and the Gaza Strip (345), noting that the recovery rate from the virus in Palestine reached 98.4%, while the percentage of infections reached 98.4%. Active 0.4%, and the death rate is 1.1% of all infections.
She pointed out that there are 11 injured in intensive care rooms, while 17 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
With regard to the citizens who received antiviral vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 572,035, of whom 403,090 received both doses of the vaccine.
