Dozens of settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

Today, Wednesday, dozens of Israeli settlers renewed their storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, guarded by the Israeli police.

The Department of Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem said, in a brief statement, that 78 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque this morning, guarded by the Israeli police.

The incursions take place in two periods, in the morning and after the noon prayer, through the Mughrabi Gate in the western wall of the mosque, with facilities and escort from the Israeli police.

The Israeli police began to allow the incursions in 2003, despite repeated condemnation by the Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem.
