Today, Wednesday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 22 deaths, 1923 new injuries and 2,245 recoveries have been recorded during the last 24 hours.
She added that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 88.2%, while the rate of active infections reached 10.8%, and the death rate was 1.0% of all infections.
The minister indicated that new injuries were recorded as follows: Tulkarm 60, Tubas 23, Nablus 143, Jenin 70, Jericho and Al Aghwar 16, Qalqilya 17, Ramallah Al-Bireh 94, Hebron 52, Bethlehem 16, the suburbs of Jerusalem 3, Salfit 4 Gaza City 1425.
Al-Kaila added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: Tulkarm 142, Tubas 31, Nablus 215, Jenin 350, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 10, Qalqilya 57, Ramallah Al-Bireh 136, Hebron 215, Bethlehem 39, the suburbs of Jerusalem 18, Salfit 32. Gaza City 1000.
Twelve deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Tulkarm 2, Nablus 3, Jenin 1, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1, Bethlehem 4, Hebron 1”, and 10 deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 180 patients in intensive care rooms, including 57 patients on artificial respirators, while 530 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
Al-Keela stated that the total number of citizens who received anti-Coronavirus vaccinations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 153911, of whom 19,940 received the two doses of the vaccine.
