Today, Monday, Minister of Health Mai Al-Kailah announced that 26 deaths, 2,762 new injuries and 1,855 recoveries have been recorded in the country during the last 24 hours.
She said that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 87.8%, while the rate of active infections reached 11.2%, and the death rate was 1.0% of all infections.
The minister indicated that new injuries were recorded as follows: “Tubas 49, Nablus 218, Tulkarm 88, Jenin 168, Hebron 212, Qalqilya 25, the suburbs of Jerusalem 17, Jericho and Al Aghwar 12, Ramallah 132, Salfit 12, Bethlehem 27”, Gaza Strip 1764, Jerusalem 38.
Al-Keela added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: “Tubas 26, Nablus 257, Tulkarm 116, Jenin 120, Hebron 75, Qalqilya 88, the suburbs of Jerusalem 3, Jericho and Al Aghwar 19, Ramallah 149, Salfit 28, Bethlehem 37,” Sector Gaza 820, Jerusalem 117.
And 6 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Hebron 2, Bethlehem 2, Salfit 1, Nablus 1”, 17 deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip, and 3 deaths were recorded in Jerusalem.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 186 patients in intensive care rooms, including 54 patients on artificial respirators, while 547 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.
Al-Keela stated that the total number of citizens who received anti-virus vaccinations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 146,986, including 14,674 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
