Millions of losses.. 33 martyrs and 93 housing units demolished during the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip

Today, Sunday, statistics of the government media office documented that 33 citizens, including 6 children and 3 women, were killed, while 93 housing units were demolished during the 5-day Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip .

According to the statistics, the total number of damaged housing units is 2,041 housing units, with an estimated value of $9 million, including 31 completely demolished homes, with a total of 93 housing units, and 128 uninhabitable housing units, while 1,820 housing units were partially damaged, initially.

And it monitored that the losses in the infrastructure amounted to about one million dollars, as 159 water lines, 173 sewage lines, 304 electricity lines, poles and transformers were damaged, 30 hotspots in various governorates, while streets were closed due to shelling and rubble.

While the value of losses in the agricultural sector amounted to 3 million dollars, including 200 agricultural holes that need rehabilitation, backfilling and preparation, while 10 thousand meters of irrigation lines were damaged.

In addition, 600 dunums of crops, "vegetables and fruits", were damaged by the bombing, and 150 dunums of covered greenhouses were damaged, while losses in farms raising poultry, livestock, sheep and beehives amounted to $225,000.

Meanwhile, the export of more than 1,100 tons of vegetables and fish stopped, and the fishing movement stopped completely.

The statistics monitored an estimate of the losses associated with stopping the economic wheel at 40 million dollars during the days of the aggression.

The statistics showed that 7 schools and 9 kindergartens were damaged, and the Ministry of Education has prepared a plan regarding receiving students and arranging exams.

The head of the government media office , Salama Maarouf , called on the international community to stand up to its responsibilities, which it shirks by leaving the Gaza Strip to suffer as a result of the blockade and face from time to time the scourge of aggression that drains resources and complicates the humanitarian situation, which requires a clear position to lift the blockade and put an end to the occupation.
