Prisoners Authority: 98 administrative decisions during July between new and renewal

The Israeli occupation authorities are still pursuing a policy of administrative detention against Palestinian prisoners, as the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission revealed that the total number of administrative detention orders issued by the occupation authorities against prisoners during last July was 98, including 38 new orders. , and 60 renewal orders.

The commission explained that the Israeli military laws related to administrative detention orders go back to the Mandate Emergency Law of 1945, and Israel continues to apply them to Palestinian prisoners, in light of discriminatory policies, in contravention of all international laws and norms, pointing out that the current number of administrative detainees is about (540). imprisoned.

The commission denounced the systematic and harsh policies of the occupation authorities against the Palestinian prisoners, by issuing more military orders, which turned them into a collective punishment for them and their families.
