The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Thursday, the registration of two deaths, 33 new infections with the “Corona” virus, and 228 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila confirmed that the two deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip, while no deaths were recorded in the West Bank governorates.
Dr. added. Al-Kaila stated that the new recoveries were distributed as follows: “Hebron 4, Jenin 4, Gaza Strip 220.”
She explained that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine was 98.6%, while the percentage of active infections was 0.3%, and the death rate was 1.1% of the total infections.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 11 patients in intensive care rooms, while 16 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.
As for the citizens who received the anti-Coronavirus vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 572,035, including 403,090 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
