Sabri Saidam, a member of the Central Committee of the Fatah movement, called on companies operating in Israeli settlements to follow the example of the American “Ben & Jerry” company, especially since there is a global will to boycott settlement products.
Saidam affirmed in an interview with Voice of Palestine radio today, Wednesday, that there are international moves and at the level of partner institutions towards stopping dealing with settlements, as they constitute a violation of the laws of international legitimacy.
Saidam welcomed any step towards boycotting dealings with settlements, stressing that what is required of the Palestinians is to research the nature of the lists of companies working with settlements, in order to call them to boycott through partner institutions and friends of our people in the world.
