The Egyptian Foreign Ministry: Intensive contacts with the two sides aiming to reach a complete lull

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed, this evening, Saturday, May 15, 2021, the developments in Cairo´s efforts to hold a "complete calm" between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli side.

Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez stated that "intensive Egyptian contacts with the two sides aim to reach a complete lull."

Hafez stated that "Egyptian efforts are continuing and cover all aspects of the desired calm."

Hafez said, "The priority now is to work on stopping escalation and bloodshed."

In the latest news about Gaza with Israel, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman added that "efforts are continuing, and a logical approach to stop the causes of the conflict remains the most important one."
