On Thursday, the Ministry of Health announced 21 deaths from Corona virus, and 2,353 new infections in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza, after examining 9,065 samples.
Eleven deaths were recorded in the West Bank (Tulkarm 3, Nablus 4, Jenin 1, Hebron 2, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1), 7 deaths in the Gaza Strip, and two cases in Jerusalem.
The new recoveries reached 1956, which makes the recovery rate in Palestine reached 89.6%, the active injury rate is 9.3%, and the death rate 1.1%.
The number of patients in intensive care reached 209, patients on artificial respirators 67, and the total number of patients being treated inside hospitals and Corona centers was 690.
The ministry indicated that the total number of vaccinated citizens in the West Bank is 60029, and in the Gaza Strip 23793.
The new casualties were distributed as follows: Tulkarm 119, Nablus 297, Qalqilya 42, Jenin 199, Tubas 56, Hebron 238, Jerusalem suburbs 29, Salfit 31, Bethlehem 60, Jericho and Al Aghwar 11, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 129, Gaza Strip 1081, city Jerusalem 61.
