Clashes in Kafr Qaddum and mass suffocation cases

clashes erupted on Saturday evening in the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, with the occupation soldiers, after the start of the weekly march towards the closed entrance since 2003.

Local sources stated that the occupation forces deliberately fired tear gas canisters at the participants in the weekly march and homes near the clashes, causing mass suffocation, in addition to the use of sponge bullets and sound bombs in a brutal crackdown.

It is noteworthy that the weekly march begins on Friday and Saturday of every week, and it is in its tenth year since its launch on the first of July 2011, and the people of Kafr Qaddum are paying a heavy bill of arrests, harsh sentences of actual imprisonment, fines, and cases of the handicapped for being targeted by live bullets before.
