A number of citizens were suffocated, today, Friday, during the suppression of the Israeli occupation army, a march condemning the establishment of a new settlement outpost in the "Al-Shorfa" mountain area in the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah.
And the official news agency reported that the occupation army fired tear gas canisters at the citizens, which led to the suffocation of a number of them.
The occupation soldiers also intercepted the vehicle of the Palestinian News and Information Agency (Wafa) while the crew was in the area to cover the attacks of the occupation and its settlers, and checked the identity cards of the crew members, before allowing them to leave.
The march was launched from the center of the village, towards the Jabal Al-Shorfa area, to denounce the intention of the occupation to establish a new settlement outpost on large areas of the village´s lands.
It is noteworthy that a number of settlers, with the protection of the occupation army, set up a tent in the area about two months ago, began digging, and put a water tank in the place.
The settlers have been targeting the "Al-Shorfa" mountain area in the village of Deir Jarir for years, and they have been grazing their riches there, which causes great losses to farmers.
