Today, Tuesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of a Palestinian youth, shot by Israeli occupation soldiers, in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Ministry stated that the General Authority for Civil Affairs informed it of the martyrdom of a citizen (whose identity has not yet been known), after the occupation forces shot him, near the city of Salfit.

Palestinian sources reported that the occupation soldiers opened fire on a Palestinian youth, while he was at one of the intersections near "Ariel" settlement, west of Salfit.

The sources added that the Israeli soldiers left the injured young man bleeding on the sidewalk, after he was hit by several bullets, and no first aid was provided to him.

Immediately after the shooting at the young man, the occupation soldiers closed the northern entrance to the city of Salfit, which caused a suffocating traffic crisis. He also stressed his presence at the entrance to the village of Haris, near the vicinity of the place.

For its part, the Hebrew Channel 12 claimed that a Palestinian approached a military force, trying to carry out a stabbing attack, on a street near the settlement of "Ariel", which is built on Salfit lands in the northern occupied West Bank, before being targeted by Israeli soldiers´ fire.
