Today, Friday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 12 deaths, 494 new cases of Coronavirus and 792 recoveries had been recorded during the past 24 hours.
In the daily epidemiological report, the minister stated that 8 deaths were recorded in the West Bank, "the suburbs of Jerusalem 1, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 2, Bethlehem 1, Hebron 1, Jenin 3", and 4 deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
It indicated that 219 HIV infections were recorded in the West Bank and 275 in the Gaza Strip, as well as 297 cases of recovery in the West Bank and 495 in the Gaza Strip.
It pointed out that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Salfit (16), the suburbs of Jerusalem (20), Tubas (21), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (8), Tulkarm (26), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (45), Bethlehem (19). Hebron (22), Nablus (23), Jenin (17), Qalqilya (2), Gaza Strip (275).
She added: The new cases of recovery were divided according to the following: Salfit (29), Tubas (8), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (2), Tulkarm (36), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (51), Bethlehem (22), Hebron (34), Nablus (48), Jenin (41), Qalqilya (26), Gaza Strip (495).
The minister explained that the rate of recovery from the Coronavirus in Palestine reached 93.1%, while the rate of active infections reached 5.8%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
Al-Kailah pointed out that there are 77 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 22 patients on artificial respirators.
