The center said in its monthly report, which was issued today, Saturday, that the occupation forces have escalated their arrests of Palestinians, despite the danger threatening them as a result of the Corona pandemic.

The center stated that the occupation forces arrested a number of young men after they were wounded, some seriously, during their storming of cities, as well as at Israeli checkpoints in the occupied West Bank.

The center pointed out that the occupation escalated its attacks against journalists, and last month 4 of them were arrested, among them Muhammad Karout Adekk from Jerusalem, who was later released, and the journalist Abdul Mohsen Shalalda from Hebron, and he was released, and the journalist Osama Shaheen from the same governorate, and he was transferred For administrative detention, the journalist Mujahid Mardawi from Qalqilya, who was arrested at the Al-Karamah crossing, while returning from his master´s degree in Malaysia, is still detained.

The Center pointed out that last month the occupation continued to target Palestinian women with arrests and summons for investigation, as it monitored 9 cases of detention of women, including the freed captive Shurooq al-Badan in Bethlehem, who was re-arrested after the raid on her home, and only two months had passed since her release, and a decision was issued against her. internment.

The occupation also arrested the freed prisoner, Siham Al-Battat (58 years) from Hebron, who is the mother of the captive Haitham Al-Battat, during a raid on her house, and she was released after hours of investigation, along with a series of other arrests of a number of women, some of whom were released later.

The Center monitored 32 cases of arrest of minors, most of them from occupied Jerusalem.
