Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 7 deaths, 290 new cases of the emerging "Corona" virus, and 521 recoveries in all governorates of the country, during the last 24 hours.
The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, said in a press release, that the new deaths were recorded for a 74-year-old citizen from Al-Taibeh, a 70-year-old citizen from Al-Amari camp, a 66-year-old citizen from Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, and a 68-year-old citizen from Al-Samu ´in the governorate. Hebron, and a citizen (64 years) from Beit Furik in the Nablus governorate, and two citizens (68 and 70 years) from Gaza.
She added that the new casualties were distributed in the governorates according to the following: Hebron (14), Nablus (46), Bethlehem (50), Qalqilya (8), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (16), Jenin (19), Salfit (25), Jericho and Al-Aghwar. (6), Tulkarm (30), Tubas (5), Gaza Strip (67), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (4), while 3177 tests were performed.
Al-Kaila added that new cases of recovery were recorded in the governorates: Hebron (137), Jenin (34), Bethlehem (214), Salfit (16), and the Gaza Strip (120), adding that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 74.6%, While the rate of active injuries was 24.7%, and the death rate was 0.7% of all injuries.
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 42 patients in intensive care rooms, including 11 patients on artificial respirators.
