Seven civilians, including a journalist, were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, and dozens suffocated, as a result of the Israeli occupation forces ’suppression of the weekly Kafr Qaddum march.
The coordinator of the Popular Resistance in Kafr Qaddum, Murad Shteiwi, stated that the occupation forces attacked the participants in the march by using rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas, which resulted in the wounding of 7 citizens with "rubber" bullets, including journalist Nidal Shtayyeh, and dozens of suffocation cases, indicating that Two injuries were transferred to Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital in Qalqilya, while the rest were treated in the field.
The marchers condemned normalization with the Israeli occupation, and chanted slogans against the occupation and settlements.
It is noteworthy that the people of the village discovered at dawn today a surveillance camera planted by the occupation on the walls of one of the houses opposite Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque, which was launched to prevent the weekly peaceful march.
