Netanyahu orders approval to build 5,000 settlement units in the West Bank

The Occupation Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has instructed to hold a meeting immediately after the completion of the "Simhat Touarah" holiday after the tenth of next October for the so-called Supreme Planning Council, with the aim of approving large-scale construction works in the West Bank.

This comes after the declared freeze on settlement construction in the West Bank since February, in order not to jeopardize peace agreements with the UAE and Bahrain, despite the fact that Israel has not committed to actually freezing it, but rather is content with only announcing.

The Israeli "Channel Seven" news site revealed that Netanyahu had agreed to approve the construction of more than 5,000 settlement units in the West Bank.
