Ashraf Al-Qidra, spokesman for the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, said today, Monday, that the new swabs received from the global health, amounting to 20 thousand, will suffice only for several days.
In a press statement, Al-Qudra indicated that the central laboratory needs more laboratory swabs as a result of the outbreak of the virus in Gaza.
He pointed out that the next stage will be sensitive and critical, and there are fears of the virus continuing to spread, indicating that during the fall and winter, infections will increase in light of the spread of different viruses in this period and may be similar to the symptoms of Corona.
"The low infection registration curve is promising, but we are still in the response stage to the increased epidemiological investigation," he said.
Al-Qudra stressed the need for citizens to adhere to safety measures, and this will help reduce infection rates.
