The Ministry of Health announced that 8 deaths, 692 new cases of Coronavirus, and 400 recoveries have been recorded during the past 24 hours.
The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, said, in a press statement, today, Friday, that the new deaths were recorded for two citizens of the Nablus governorate (76 and 77 years), a citizen of the Hebron governorate (57 years), a citizen of the Bethlehem governorate (40 years), and a citizen of the Qalqilya governorate. (32 years), a citizen of Khan Yunis (70 years), and two deaths in al-Tur and Ras al-Amud in occupied Jerusalem.
She added that the new casualties were distributed according to the following: Hebron Governorate (131), Nablus Governorate (15), Bethlehem Governorate (59), Qalqilya Governorate (18), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (97), Jenin (34), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (29) ), Tubas (7), Salfit (14), Tulkarm (49), the Gaza Strip (47), the suburbs of Jerusalem (58), and the city of Jerusalem (134).
And the Minister of Health added that new recoveries were recorded in: Hebron Governorate (185), Tulkarm Governorate (18), Tubas Governorate (12), Salfit Governorate (10), Jerusalem City (127), and Gaza Strip (48).
She pointed out that there are 40 patients in intensive care rooms, including 7 patients on ventilators, noting that the rate of recovery from the "Corona" virus in Palestine reached 70.3%, while the rate of active infections reached 29.1%, and the death rate was 0.6% of all injuries.
