US President Donald Trump said that the Palestinians will eventually go to a peace agreement with Israel, as their financial and political backers in the Gulf proceed to establish relations with it.
Trump added, hours before the signing ceremony of the two peace agreements between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain, that if the Palestinians did not do so, "they would remain alone in the open," and said that "it is very difficult to deal with the Palestinians."
Trump indicated that he had stopped much of US financial support for the Palestinians, and that he would continue to support this policy.
He told Fox News: "The Palestinians will come at the end of the day too ... and you will have peace in the Middle East without being idiots and shoot everyone and kill everyone and blood on the sand."
