Health: 6 deaths and 888 new infections with the "Corona" virus during the last 24 hours

Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 6 deaths, 888 new cases of "Corona" virus, and 455 recoveries during the last 24 hours.

The Minister of Health, Mai al-Kailah, said in a press statement that the deaths are of a 66-year-old citizen from Tafouh, a 60-year-old citizen from Tarqumiya in Hebron governorate, and a 70-year-old citizen from Askar camp in Nablus governorate, in addition to a woman from Silwan, and a woman. From Ras al-Amud, and a citizen of the Umm Lisson neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem.

She added that the new injuries in Palestine amounted to 888 injuries in the past 24 hours, in addition to 230 injuries in the city of Jerusalem during the past two days, and they were distributed as follows: Hebron governorate (162), Nablus governorate (68), Bethlehem governorate (50), Qalqilya governorate. (33), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (190), Jenin (105), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (15), Tubas (1), Salfit (25), Tulkarm (30), Gaza Strip (79), the suburbs of Jerusalem (130), The city of Jerusalem (230 within two days).

Al-Kaila explained that the new cases of recovery amounted to 455 cases, recorded in: Hebron Governorate (200), Tulkarm Governorate (8), Bethlehem Governorate (114), Tubas Governorate (10), Salfit Governorate (6), Jerusalem City (57). Gaza Strip (60).

She pointed out that an increase in the number of "Coronavirus" infections continues to be recorded in Palestine, calling on the public of citizens to adhere to preventive and safety measures to protect themselves, their families and their countrymen.

The Minister of Health continued that getting out of "Corona" with the least losses requires full commitment from the public of citizens, and not underestimating the disease, stressing that recklessness and neglect of safety and prevention measures will lead to more injuries and deaths.

And she stressed the importance of wearing masks when leaving homes, staying away from crowded places, avoiding social events, washing hands with soap and water periodically, and using alcohol sterilizers.

She pointed out that there are 39 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 10 patients on artificial respirators.
