Solidarity event with Palestine in Japan against the policy of annexing the Israeli occupation of settlements in the West Bank

On July 1, 2020, the Hokkaido Association for Medical Assistance to Palestinians in Japan organized an awareness event on violations of the Israeli occupation in Palestine.

"We are protesting the policy of annexing the Israeli occupation of settlements in the West Bank," the association said in a statement. We stand against racial discrimination, stop the policy of genocide of Palestinians."

The statement said that Israel plans today to annex the main settlements near the Jordan River in the West Bank.

In its statement, the Assembly considered that the policy of expropriation of land in the Palestinian State, recognized by the United Nations, was a complete violation of international law.

She noted that the Palestinian self-rule area was being divided by Israel by building seperation walls, guard towers and even Israeli settlements.

In its statement, the Assembly considered that the policy of genocide was a dangerous racist policy pursued by Israel against The Palestinians, which was inherent in the Jewish religion.

On the other hand, she considered that the United States of America, which supports the expansion of the Jewish state on the territory of Palestine, now faces battles by blacks there against racial discrimination against black people, which spread widely following the death of a black master named "George Floyd" by the American police and also spread more in other countries against racism in general.

She said the incident showed the similarity of racism against Palestinians by Israel to the racism practiced by the United States against black people, which had become racist in general.

The Assembly called for an end to the Israeli occupation of the policy of terrorism they are taking against the Palestinians, and that the policy of annexing settlements by Israel must be stopped, noting the need to take a serious step to eradicate racism in general around the world.

"Let us also raise the level of public opinion ourselves and also make a sincere call and join forces to stop Israeli violence and global racism," the association said in a statement.
