The Israeli occupation authorities have arrested more than 800 Palestinians, half of them from occupied Jerusalem, since the outbreak of the Coruna virus last March, including 90 children, 10 girls and women.

Abdel Nasser Farwana, a specialist in prisoners and freed persons affairs, said in a press statement on Sunday that the Israeli offensive intensified in recent months inside occupied Jerusalem, and a case of serious Israeli escalation of arrests and violations against the Palestinians there was monitored.

He indicated that the occupation forces arrested 13 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip after crossing the eastern and northern borders of the Strip, and they were allowed to return to the Gaza Strip through random points.

The occupation arrests 4,800 Palestinian prisoners, including 39 female prisoners, 18 children, and approximately 400 administrative detainees. About 700 patients, among them 300, suffer from chronic and chronic diseases, including dozens of elderly people, the oldest of whom is Fuad al-Shobaki, who is over 80 years old.
