Settlers take over land east of Ramallah

Settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, seized lands on Tuesday between Deir Dibwan and Ramon, east of Ramallah.

The mayor of Deir Dibwan Mansour Mansour told Wafa that dozens of settlers stormed the Al-Muzayri´a area, which is a vast area between the town and Rumun, and took about 47 dunums of it, and began bulldozing the lands with bulldozers, with the protection of the occupation army that is present in the area.

He added that the lands that had been seized belonged to the people of Deir Dibwan and Ramon, indicating that the occupation forces prevented citizens from accessing their lands, and threatened them to leave the place.

Mansour called on the owners of the land that was seized and which surrounds it, to register their names to go to the legal and official bodies to address the settlers, and return the lands to their owners.
