Gaza: End of the isolation period for hundreds of citizens and appeals for the provision of laboratory examination materials

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Monday, the end of the health isolation period for 632 citizens in a number of stone centers in separate areas of the sector, where the first batch of them left today and another batch will be released tomorrow .

Ashraf al-Qidra, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health, told reporters in front of the Muscat Center, Qizan Al-Najjar, east of Khan Yunis, that the isolation operation ended after 21 days, and after checking on their health and safety.

He indicated that they will return to their homes after giving them the necessary instructions not to mix and visit in the first week, and to maintain personal and public hygiene, and to stay at home during this week to check on their safety and the safety of society.

The ability issued a distress call to the international institutions to provide laboratory test materials, indicating that what is available in the sector will be implemented this evening.

"The technical staff at the central laboratory cannot conduct the tests without the availability of these materials ... We appeal to everyone to remedy the health situation and the field situation, especially in light of the spread of the Corona epidemic around the sector and we demand the provision of laboratory examination materials before it is too late."

For his part, Iyad Al-Bazm, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior in Gaza, said that the ministry will continue to implement the remaining measures related to other stone centers that still have a number of citizens.

And that the relevant government agencies in Gaza operate as a joint cell, again calling for all citizens to adhere to preventive measures, to deal with all seriousness and not to be lenient, and to wear protective masks to solve the necessity movement.

He said, "The preventive measures are still in progress, so that we can overcome these difficult circumstances, and continue to besiege the epidemic."
