The warplanes of the Israeli occupation are continuing their raids against targets in the Gaza Strip from tonight until Monday, in light of the Palestinian resistance´s response to the crime of occupation against the martyr Muhammad al-Na`m, whose body was abused after his martyrdom yesterday Sunday east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
The warplanes targeted dozens of sites belonging to the resistance, especially to the Al-Quds Brigades (the military arm of the Islamic Jihad movement), which the occupation blamed for firing rocket-propelled grenades at the "Gaza envelope" and Ashdod settlements.
The occupation also targeted this afternoon, a group of citizens, east of Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, without any injuries.
A spokesman for the Occupation Army said that the warplanes launched a series of raids against the targets of the Islamic Jihad movement in the Gaza Strip, claiming that 40 rockets were fired from Gaza within 24 hours.
And Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with the military leaders, held a consultation session to assess the security situation with Gaza, as he ordered the continuation of action against the resistance in the Strip, while canceling his participation in the Likud conference that was scheduled to be held today.
The Al-Quds Brigades, in a brief statement to it, has claimed responsibility for the shelling of the cover settlements with rocket-propelled grenades this afternoon, in response to the crime of targeting Damascus, which resulted in the martyrdom of two of its members: Ziad Mansour and Salim Salim.
And she confirmed that she is ready to confront any aggression, "Let the occupation know that if it goes too far, we will respond with full force and competence," according to her expression.
