The Spanish Foreign Ministry renewed its condemnation of building settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, stressing that it contravenes international law and constitutes an obstacle to a two-state solution according to international standards.
This step comes after the Israeli occupation government announced recently the construction of thousands of new settlement units in occupied Jerusalem.
And Spain called, according to a statement of its Foreign Ministry, on Sunday, the occupation government to review the decision to build thousands of settlement units.
