Jerusalem.. 120 Israeli extremists desecrate al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards

On Thursday morning, Israeli occupation police and their armed forces provided full protection to more than 120 Jewish extremists during the raid and desecration of the courtyards of the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

According to our correspondent, Jewish extremists stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the form of groups on the side of the "Door of the Moroccans", which has been under occupation since 1967.

He noted, according to eyewitnesses, that extremist groups organized tours in al-Aqsa courtyards, under the protection of the occupying police, until they exit the "Bab al-Series", which usually witnesses "provocations" of worshippers and al-Masalat.

According to the Jerusalem Islamic Waqf, 122 settlers, including 35 Jewish students, stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the morning, staged provocative tours throughout the city, and received explanations about the alleged "temple."

The Al-Aqsa Mosque, except on Friday and Saturday (an official holiday to the occupation), is witnessed by settlers and the various occupying arms in an attempt to extend full sovereignty over it, and to divide it in time and space.

Since 2003, Israeli police have allowed settlers to break into the mosque through the Door of the Moroccans in the Western Wall.

The Jerusalem Department of The Islamic Endowments, which is responsible for managing the affairs of the mosque, demands that the incursions be stopped, but the Israeli police have not responded to this request.
