The European Union´s High Representative for Foreign Policy, Federica Mogherini, said that the European Union´s position on Israel´s settlement policy in the Occupied Palestinian Territory was clear and unchanged.
"All settlement activity is illegal under international law and undermines the viability of the two-state solution and the prospects for lasting peace, as confirmed by Security Council Resolution 2334," Mogherini said in an EU press release tonight.
"The EUROPEAN Union calls on Israel to end all settlement activities, in line with its obligations as an occupying power," she said. According to WAFA.
"The EU will continue to support the resumption of a meaningful process towards a negotiated two-state solution, the only realistic and viable way to achieve the legitimate aspirations of both parties."
