The Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs said today, Wednesday, that "the Israeli occupation forces stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque 23 times, and prevented the call to prayer in the Ibrahimi Mosque 44 times, during the month of January."
 
In its monthly report, the ministry stated that the settlers performed provocative dances and Talmudic rituals on the outer side of the Chain Gate, and raised Israeli flags at Al-Aqsa "in front of the Chain Gate", amid chanting racist slogans. Al-Qattanin, collective Talmudic rituals.
 
She noted that extremist Ben Gvir and a group of settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa square after assuming his position as Israeli Minister of National Security.
 
She indicated that within the framework of the campaign of incitement against Al-Aqsa Mosque, the occupation authorities discussed a new scheme presented by the so-called "temple groups", in which it demanded Ben Gvir to open all the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque to settlers even on Saturdays, and to extend the storming hours to the evening hours, and allow settlers by storming Al-Aqsa individually, and entering all its corridors, while the “Temple” organizations demanded the occupation police to allow them to slaughter the “Passover offering” in Al-Aqsa.
 
And she explained that the occupation forces continue the policy of restricting the entry of worshipers to Al-Aqsa, especially on Friday, while they have deported dozens of it for varying periods, and the occupation spares no effort in fighting the stationed men and women stationed at times with deportation or arrest.
 
With regard to the excavations carried out by the occupation authorities with the extremist parties supporting this, the report documented a dangerous acceleration in the excavation work in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, from the southern and southwestern sides. Jerusalem and Hebron, preventing maintenance work in a mosque, stopping the agency in the old city of Hebron, storming the Islamic shrines in Kifl Haris, and attacking the Heritage Revival Foundation in Abu Dis, with gas bombs, and smashing its windows.
 
In the same context, the occupation authorities continue to interfere in the affairs of the Ibrahimi Mosque, where a group of settlers who live in settlement outposts established on the lands of Hebron organized a provocative and noisy party in its vicinity and the roads leading to it .
