The European Union´s envoy to the Middle East peace process, Sven Koopmans, arrived in Cairo today, Sunday, on a visit to Egypt, the first since his appointment.
The Council of Foreign Ministers of the European Union chose the Dutch diplomat Sven Koopmans to work as the new envoy for the peace process in the Middle East in late April, and he took office on the first of last May until February 28, 2023.
