On Al-Manara Square in the center of Ramallah, thousands of citizens gathered to march towards the Beit El checkpoint north of Ramallah and Al-Bireh. They raised Palestinian flags and chanted for Palestine and against the occupation´s aggression, to the beat of patriotic songs.


The coordinator of the national and Islamic forces, Wasel Abu Youssef, "The activities will start today, Tuesday, from city centers towards points of contact with the occupation."


Abu Yusef confirmed that the activities have been going on for days at the points of contact with the occupation against the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people, and that next Friday will be a day of popular anger in all the Palestinian territories.


According to Abu Yusef, the general strike that prevailed in historic Palestine today constitutes a state of consensus and unity for all the Palestinian people in all their locations.

It is assumed that mass events will be organized today, during the comprehensive strike, the "strike of dignity" in historic Palestine, and then heading after it to the friction areas in the various governorates.


There will be events in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, including: “Ramallah at 11 am in Al Manara Square, and in Tulkarm at 1 pm on Gamal Abdel Nasser Square, and in Jenin at 5 pm at the Cinema Roundabout, and in Bethlehem at 1 pm in the Bab Al-Zuqaq area. And in Nablus at 6 pm at the Martyrs Square, and in Jerusalem at 3 pm at the Damascus Gate and at 4 pm in Sheikh Jarrah and at 1 pm in the Bedouin town northwest of Jerusalem, and in Hebron from the Hussein Mosque after the noon prayer, and in Salfit at five o´clock from the mosque Al-Kabeer, and in Haifa, activities will be organized in the different lanes from 10 in the morning until 6 in the evening.


As for the diaspora, an event will be organized in Mar Elias camp (UNESCO Roundabout) up to Riad El Solh Square at 5 pm, and in Beirut at 4 pm in front of the Spring Project, and in the Burj camp, the gathering will be in front of the camp at 4 pm, and in the North Burj camp in the diaspora at 5 pm. 10 am at the entrance to the camp ”.


The strike will include cities, towns and camps in Palestine and the occupied Syrian Golan, and all official and civil forces and institutions, municipalities, professional trade unions, banks, and private sector companies have announced their participation in the strike.
