Today, Thursday, Minister of Health Mai Al-Kailah announced that 14 deaths, 1717 new cases of "Corona" virus, and 2052 recoveries have been recorded during the past 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation of the virus in Palestine, Al-Kailah confirmed that the deaths were recorded in the governorates as follows: Tulkarm (1), Nablus (4), Qalqilya (1), Tubas (2), Jenin (1), Gaza Strip (5) ).
It said that the new injuries were recorded as follows: Tulkarm (63), Nablus (183), Qalqilya (11), Tubas (34), Salfit (21), Hebron (73), Jenin (66), the suburbs of Jerusalem (6), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (65), Bethlehem (30), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (3), Gaza Strip (1162), noting that the number of tests reached 5,531.
Al-Kaila added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: Tulkarm (72), Nablus (304), Qalqilya (45), Tubas (39), Salfit (2), Hebron (199), Jenin (203), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (9). Ramallah and Al-Bireh (75), Bethlehem (40), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (14), Gaza Strip (1050).
She stated that the rate of recovery from the "Corona" virus in Palestine reached 88.3%, while the rate of active infections reached 10.6%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
She pointed out that there are 177 people infected with "Corona" in the intensive care rooms, of whom 54 are connected to artificial respirators, while 516 injured are being treated in hospital centers and departments in the West Bank.
With regard to the citizens who received the anti-corona virus vaccinations, Al-Kaila indicated that their total number in the West Bank and Gaza reached 156,446, including 21419 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
