Today, Monday, Minister of Health Mai Al-Kailah announced that 22 deaths, 2003 new infections with the Coronavirus, and 1909 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kailah stated that 17 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Qalqilya 1, the suburbs of Jerusalem 1, Tulkarm 4, Hebron 3, Bethlehem 2, Salfit 1, Tubas 1, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 2, Jenin 2. In addition to 5 deaths in Jerusalem.
It indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Qalqilya 80, the suburbs of Jerusalem 121, Tulkarm 89, Hebron 431, Nablus 291, Bethlehem 142, Salfit 71, Tubas 32, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 242, Jericho 43, Jenin 76”, Sector Gaza 123, Jerusalem 261.
She added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: “Qalqilya 45, Jerusalem suburbs 68, Tulkarm 60, Hebron 141, Nablus 104, Bethlehem 177, Salfit 59, Tubas 17, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 427, Jericho 49, Jenin 49”, Gaza Strip 133, Jerusalem 580.
It indicated that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 89.0%, while the rate of active infections reached 9.9%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
Regarding the health conditions of the injured, the Minister of Health pointed out that there are 150 injured persons in the intensive care rooms, of whom 42 are connected to artificial respirators.
