Gaza: The occupation targets a number of journalists east of Khan Yunis

Israeli troops on Saturday fired at a number of journalists while preparing a report on Israeli violations against Palestinian farmers on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip.

Hassan Aslah, a journalist, said the Israeli occupation forces deliberately opened fire on him along with three other journalists while preparing the report, east of the town of Khuza´a, east of Khanyounis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Aslih said he was touring alongside Sky News correspondent Mohammed al-Mashharawi, photojournalist Ashraf Abu Amra and cameraman Ayman al-Razi when they were directly targeted.

He said they were forced to withdraw alongside farmers at the border for fear of being injured.
