The occupation demolishes 3 houses in the West Bank

Israeli forces demolished three houses in the West Bank city of Jerusalem on Tuesday, Palestinian security sources said.

Wafa news agency quoted eyewitnesses as saying that an Israeli force came to Al-Arroub camp, accompanied by military vehicles, and demolished the house of Khaled Khanna and his brother Nabil on the outskirts of the camp.

"We were notified of the demolition decision a year ago and submitted a request to the Israeli court to prevent the demolition, but it seems they want to continue our displacement from our land and homes," house owner Khaled Khanna told Xinhua.

In addition, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a third house in the town of Jabal Al-Mukaber, southeast of occupied Jerusalem, after raiding the area and imposing a security cordon.

Eyewitnesses told Xinhua that bulldozers of the Jerusalem municipality, accompanied by a police force, demolished a house belonging to the Abbasi family under the pretext of building without a permit.

On the other hand, the Israeli municipality in Jerusalem asked another Palestinian to demolish his 130-square-meter house by himself to avoid the high cost of demolition in the event of demolition by the municipality.

The owner of the house told Palestinian radio that the demolition was made under the pretext of building without a permit.

The occupation authorities impose incapacitating conditions on the granting of building permits to Palestinian citizens, which compels them under the pressure of urgent need and the inability to obtain building permits without permits.

According to Palestinian and Israeli human rights organizations, Israel has demolished some 225 homes in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since the beginning of this year until the end of October.
